The lighter case is intentionally shorter than the lighter to avoid the case becoming hot/burned. Please avoid an open flame touching the lighter case or allowing the case to heat up, it may become damaged or burnt. These cases are made to have a snug fit, so when inserting the lighter provide a firm but gentle push.
